Olympus 2023

2023 July 22-23 / Mount Olympus, Greece

On July 22-23 as a team with Explosivo we did the ascent of mountain Olympus, which is the highest mountain in Greece, with its highest summit, Mutikas, at 2918m.

The initial starting point was from Gkortsia, until the Petrostrougka refuge and then passing from ‘laimos’ ridge towards the Muses plateau, where we eventually reached the G. Apostolidis refuge(my review here), positioned just before Mutikas Summit.

As an expedition, it has been an amazing experience, demanding both physically and mentally.
