SDNA is one of the leading sports news portal in Greece. On the 3rd and more advanced re-design of the website, new features and functionality were introduced, making it stand out from the competition.

A state of the art design and user experience across the webpage was introduced, providing the user an intuitive way of reading the sports news on the web. Making accessible all the news, newspapers, matches, live scores, galleries, standings etc were a few of the key requirements of the project.
To build the 3rd and more advanced version of the website, meant to start thinking from scratch and by reverse engineering all the aspects that the previous version had, combined with new additions.
The design started by doing an extended UX research with user questionnaires and breakdown of the huge sitemap of the project. The art direction was build upon the current color palette and the branding that already existed but with a slight ‘push’ to make it more up-to-date and more vibrant. For a sports news portal with such a huge amount of data (standings, scores, live matches, teams) the aim was to make a visual appealing, readable, easy to use, and accessible update of the previous version of the website.
